Sailing a private yacht charter in the Bahamas is ideal during the winter months. Unless a strong cold front approaches (which it does from time-to-time), you can pretty much expect to have 15 to 20 knots from the Eastern direction.
Keep in mind, sailing the Bahamas in the winter will be busier. Everyone is escaping the cold weather in the northern US states, but with over 700 islands that make up the Bahamas you are sure to find a great spot to anchor!
